European Theatre Talks
The Roadmap to Cutting-Edge, Net-Zero Theatre by 2030
Can you put on spectacular shows and wow audiences with AI, holographic projects and VR -- and still fulfil sustainable requirements of the European Green Deal and the Opole Recommendations?
This edition of the European Theatre Talks brings art and policy together at the heart of the Festival d'Avignon to officially launch the ETC Theatre Green Book, the one reference tool for all theatres to become green across all their work, whether digital, large-scale, on their building, or in their logistics.
Features interventions from:
- Renew Culture, the coordinators of the ETC Theatre Green Book;
- High-profile theatres that have embedded the ETC Theatre Green Book in their work;
- Large-scale international networks on new technologies and AI in theatre (ACuTe) and major experimental green theatre networks (STAGES).
The event will be attended by renowned European artists, policymakers, theatre professionals, and media representatives.
